“ Very interesting drinks! We came here on a Wednesday night around 9PM and got a seat without issue. I ordered the Saturn, which was pretty strong but still quite tasty. It definitely has the nice tropical atmosphere, with a wide selection of drinks. I appreciated that our server explained the drinks simply and gave some recommendations. Would definitely come back to try some of their other drinks! A good place to sip on some cocktails with some friends in East Village. ”

“ This place was so nice! A little hard to find but not the hardest bar/speakeasy I’ve been to as of late. There was a little wait/spill and the manager as well as our server Brian(Bryan?) took care of us drink wise. I’m not the biggest fan of the super fancy strong drinks and I love that they indicate the strength of the drinks and everything we had was delicious regardless of strength. I am a rum girl so take that into consideration since it is a rum bar. I liked the jungle bird and beelz soda. My bf liked the banatulas. The atmosphere is very immersive, the soundtrack wasn’t MY favorite but I’m very limited in my music choices. Definitely enjoyed and my bf and I will be back soon lol. ”

“ Great tiki drinks with a cool atmosphere. The menu tells you the strength and flavor profile, so makes it easy to order. Had a Shattered Conch, unique Mezcal and Mexican rum combo with a “meat theme”, surprisingly good. The Tarman was a strong classic hibiscus drink, I had to share it with the group for it’s potency. The vibe is moody and cool, the staff was great. The best tiki bar in the area, would go back and try more! ”

Nobody had a bad thing to say about their drinks - classic cocktails like Mai Tais are on point and there is a huge selection of more adventurous drinks. Everything is labeled based on how spiritous it is, so you can easily judge what would fit your palate. ”

“ 10/10 Experience. The place reminds me of some of my favorite Rum Bars (False Idol in San Diego and Smuggler's Cove in SF and Three Dots and a Dash in Chicago) I have no complaints. The drinks were well made - the Tarman was fantastic, but it kicked my butt. I thought I had a high liquor tolerance, but this humbled me. Beel'z Road Soad was just super smooth and delicious. The Attack of the Banantulas was the weakest of the 3 drinks we had, but still very good. The tater tots were super well made and extremely flavorful and the kelpie pop was really nice. Really no notes, continue doing what you guys are doing because its fantastic! ”

“ I don't want to pile on the praise, but dang. This has to be one of my favorite bars in NYC. Beautiful interior, friendly staff, delicious and inventive drinks. It's a good time all around. I had the Lillith, Bat Out Of Hell, Diablo, and one other. They were all fantastic. ”

“ Definitely an experience. It's a tiki bar, but with a horror vibe. The entrance is a bit of a mystery (you have to ring a doorbell). When we arrived, there was no one in line. When we left, there were about 12 people waiting. The drinks are served in some seriously cool glasses. Mine came in a green skeleton head with a bonus rum shot and a tiny toy – a fun touch. We had a good time there, and it's definitely a unique spot. ”
